We bowled our first game and then took a break to eat lunch. They were playing Oldies music and Lucky started bobbing his head like he always does when he hears music he likes. When Ace seen me laughing he started doing it too, Lucky can't get all the attention after all.
All I could think of was "Please Lord, don't let my boys grow up to headbangers..." :)
They were bowling and dancing around like nuts. It was the most adorable thing to watch. Ace bowled his first strike and Lucky came pretty close with the help of the ramp.
Afterward we went and had some ice cream. The boys played with the hula hoops and chased bubbles until it was time to go home.
I love summer afternoons don't you?

Looks like you all had a blast bowling. I think that is such a great program. I made sure all of my parents knew about it before we went on summer vacation this year!

In looking at your pictures, it almost looked like you were at the same bowling alley we visit. Then I saw the pictures of you outside and noticed the Palm trees. No Palm trees here!

Don't worry - headbangers aren't so bad. I grew up in central NJ, the headbanging capital of the world. We all grew up OK :-)
