Want to Win a Gorgeous Hand Knit Shawl?

The winner of the awesome vintage button bracelet by Cupcake Studio is Christy0729! Congratulations! Email your mailing addy to Sylvia{at}ChasingCheerios{dot}com so I can ship out your super cool bracelet!

Some of you might remember a little while back I posted about some of my favorite fall chills & frills. My absolute favorite was a hand-knit shawl by a very talented Etsy seller.

Well, for our next giveaway of our TWO MONTH long Blissfully Domestic Giveaway Extravaganza, Celeste of CelesteCraft is giving away that gorgeous hand-knit shawl! Ladies, seriously I want to wrap myself up in this every night! So someone is seriously going to be in love! I cannot wait to give this away to a lucky winner!

Celeste says,
I get a cheap thrill out of making people feel happy. That’s why I work in a customer service field, and that’s why I make warm garments. I love to think of something that my little hands made traveling to people that I will probably never meet and making them smile. I love doing custom orders for people, getting to interact and make something that’s just right for that individual. I stock my Etsy shop with things that make me smile, knowing that most of my sales will come from people who say “I love that! Can you make it in a size large? And purple?” It’s great to be able to combine my creativity with his or hers and make something that would never be created any other way.
So let's have those entries ladies!!

Rules are the same as always:
  • One entry per person, per contest
  • Leave a valid e-mail address
  • If you have a blog, spread the word!
  • Become A Purse Full of Cheerios follower and you'll be entered twice (tell me you're following)
  • Visit her shop and tell me something else that you like and you'll get another entry
*NOTE: You only have to leave one comment and I'll add the extra entries :)

And just to shake this up a bit, I want to hear about a time you've been accused or acted like a prude!! :) You'll get extra credit for this! I'll post the best stories after the giveaway!

I love that shawl--especially that shade of green--it's beautiful!

I visited her site and I also like the orange square poncho. It seems so easy to throw on in the mornings to take the kids to school (I hate wearing bulky coats!)

I'm also a subscriber:)

Pink Soft Tulip Hat is my favorite item besides the shawl, this shawl is beautiful!

I am a follower.

My husband told me I was being a prude when I said I couldn't go to church in what I was wearing because it showed cleavage. I disagree!

I love that color and it is getting to be the weather for it.
When someone called me a prude---I've always bee kind of a wild child but, when my youngest daughter was in high school, she wanted all the latest styles. We shopped and bought more clothes than I have ever owned. When she selected this slinky silk shiry/chemise to wear to school, I balked. I told her that I thought it was inappropriate for a school girl, she said, 'Oh, Mom, don't be such a prude!' She did NOT get that top. Now, today, she is 31 and believes that it was inappropriate. LOL

I love the shawl-Green is my favorite color, too!

Thanks for the kind feedback, everybody! I'm really glad that I stopped by to look, because Brook's comment caught my eye.
"Petal Pink Daisy Lace Ribbed Tulip Hat?" I don't have any hats that are both tulip shaped AND have daisy lace! But sure enough, that's what my title said. Thanks, Brook, I fixed it, and I didn't even know it was broken till today!

Ooh I love it! It's gorgeous! I visited her store and I also like the bright green wool wrap. It's the perfect color.

Actually my friends are always calling me a prude because I don't like to watch, read, talk about, etc. "dirty stuff". :D

I was trying to become a follower (your blog is awesome) but it wouldn't let me, some error. I'll try later.

Hi!
Your blog is one of my favorites first of all! This shaw you are giving away is lovely! I love how shaws can go with just about anything-perfect color too! I visited her etsy store and it is hard to name just one favorite. However I am in love with the super soft brown triangle shaw!! This is inspiring me to finally learn how to knit and/or crochet!
I was called a prude when I made my best friend of 12 years change her skirt because I told her it was not appropriate for where we were going and too short. (mind you it was just above the knees but hey thats why they call me prude) lol Thanks for this awesome giveaway!

Shawl is lovely. I'm a knitter also and love the ribbed tulip hat. I think the color is great. So many gorgeous hats! I'm not called a prude anymore. I think when you hit a certain age, it's expected!! ha,ha.

I looovvveee the super soft brown triangle shawl and the soft yellow cloche. I am not a coat wearer so I love shawls and ponchos. I bookmarked her site. By the way, I am now a follower. I just found your site and I really like it. As for being a prude, I haven't been called one lately, but with 2 teenage boys I am sure that is coming soon. I already get a lot of eye rolling.

A time I was prudish? My hubby would tell you everyday, he sometimes calls me the ice queen. I'm sweet as peach pie, I promise! Heck I better be, since I'm known as Loving Heart Mommy!

I just have a tendency to carry myself with respect and if that's being prudish, I say OH WELL! :)

I have always been a prude as I don't like to play jokes on others.

I love, love, love this shawl!!! What a beautiful green!

I went to Celeste's site. It is so hard to choose but my other favorite is the lightly felted triangle shawl. I guess you can see that I love shawls. I wear them almost every day!

A story about me being prudish? Why, I can not tell. I am too much of a prude!

Oh, the email ... beth (at) 3rdfloordesigns (dot) com.
Thanks!

So beautiful! I love this shawl, I'm always looking for something warm to snuggle with!

I was called a prude when I wouldn't share intimate details of my life with a group of people...that's just not my style I guess :)

I'm a follower now too!

Wow! What a gorgeous shawl, just love the color. Everything in your shop is absolutely beautiful, especially the pretty Purple Fuzzy Tulip Hat. I've hearted it awhile ago.

I'm rather conservative & have been called a prude many times most recently when I had to bring my own bathrobe to wear while receiving radiation therapy for stage #1 breast cancer.

That is one gorgeous shawl. Oh it looks so comfy..
I am an admitted prude I know.
I have often been accused of "prudyness"! My eleven year old tells me this all the time. Last time, my infraction occurred when I lamented that the girls in his class were dressed a bit promiscuously. I cannot imagine letting an 11 yr old dress as though she were employed by a man in a long black trenchcoat.
These girls didn't have little kitties on their tshirts; they had
glitter to beat the band and (gasp!) lycra pants on with (oh dear) heels.
It was horrid. If I has a little girl, she would wear gingham dresses and she would like it!

I love homemade shawls, though I am not so good at making them. This one is nice.

I have not been called prude to my face, but I'm sure it was in people's thoughts when I told them I didn't want to kiss a boy until I was engaged. I didn't quite make it to engagement, but I got close :) lol.
